GREAT PLATE
ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

INCRED-GIRL Great Plate
Since 2019,Comic Book Wirter and Artist, Malphunkson has been contributing to the fundraiser. This year he was asked to showcase one of his comic book creations.

However, the last 2 plates were ceramic glazed plate and the other a carved ceramic plate he decided to paint one instead with a design based on a Chibi Art Style version of his superhero, INCREDI-GIRL. 
The design was created last year for the Plunge Convention, Children's Colouring Competition, which was suggested by convention volunteer, Hannah Mitchell.

The plate being a comic character was suggested by Jarred Taylor, both of whom are the new managers at Quarry Arts Centre and his friends.

The design itself is raised and textured paint using paint medium, glow-in-the-dark pain, acrylic and shiny fabric paint along with a clear lacquer to give it nice finish. Around a month was spent working on the piece to allow it seal the drying process for the texture.
