MALPHUNKSON™ is a prolific writer of fiction who grew up on Saturday afternoon reruns of Star Trek: TOS and Fantasy Island along with other healthy weekly dose of weekday TV shows from the USA, such as Incredible Hulk, Knightrider & A-Team.

By 1981, at the age of 8yrs old, he was reading, Tintin, Asterix along with 2000ad, feat. Judge Dredd.

​

By Late '80s he was reading Valiant Comics and Uncanny X-Men and everything Mutant related releases from Marvel.

In 2000 he would move onto the DC ensemble of characters. But, loved the Vertigo Imprint above all as it reminded him of the hardcore style of 2000AD weeklies which a lot of those who wrote for Vertigo had also written for.

Having Diploma in Art Design & Craft he would later work in Stage writing Skits, and Productions for 5yrs.

In 2003 he studied for, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Filmmaking.

​

During which in his second year he announced that his plan for the future was to sit under a tree with a laptop writing scripts all day long.

​

With a love for storytelling in all Genres, and about all sorts of characters he is never bored as he surrounds himself with Pop Culture and promoting his love of the medium to others through the various enterprises he is involved in.
